I logged on before with my story.
The doctor I went to see actually wanted to do two separate open hernia surgeries for my bilateral direct inguinal, incision and umbilical hernias. The HerniaMD said get another opinion, and go lap. “This situation is IDEAL for laparoscopic surgery.”
Well, I did just that and found a surgeon how does the latest, behind the membrane, laparoscopic surgery and I couldn’t be happier. He fixed all four hernias with one outpatient surgery. I had three days of tolerable pain, without medication, and am now good as new. I was prescribed hydrocoden but didn’t take it for personal reasons.
I just wanted to say thanks for the advice.
