James: I had the same thing. Get an ultra sound down by a doctor who specializes in this. He gave me a lidocaine injection that took care of the problem. He was able to see it right away. Check it out. I have other issues after after a year of suffering from my last surgery. I am awaiting a date for surgery to reconstruct my abdomen, repair two large hernias (the last doctor who operated said I didn't have another one) and replace the mesh that has crumbled up. I have to have a general surgeon and a plastic surgeon do the surgery together. It is going to be a big operation but I can't suffer anymore with an abdomen that looks like I am seven months pregnant and severe pain. I cannot walk, stand, or sit for longer than 30 minutes. I live on pain pills and spend most of my time lying down. The doctor that performed my last surgery said he would not do any more surgeries or do any CAT Scans or MRI's. I had to have my pain specialist order them and this is what we found out. I even went to Baltimore and that was a waste of time and money. I have found two wonderful surgeons who knew right away what was wrong and what has to be done to fix it but it won't be easy. I have no choice. I can't live like this so I'm waiting for the insurance company to approve the plastic surgery part. I wish you luck. Keep fighting until you get your answers. You may have to find another surgeon who knows and have done a lot of hernia repairs. Good luck! Judy D
