Question for Henia MD

I saw a second surgeon today. He states that I have a small ingunial hernia. He was very clear in the fact that he would not do laproscopic surgery with this small of a hernia. States that it would be too invasive for this size, even though he does both type of surgeries. He does appear to have a lot of experience and seemed very knowledgeable. Does this sound accurate? Thanks for your input, I appreciate it!!
