The Bard Plug is a very bad product and there is NO REASON to use it in the year 2008 with so many better alternatives. If your surgeon insists on a plug, have him use the new UltraPro plug. It is made of lightweight mesh and is a much better design. It is relatively new to the market and I have used it once. Check out this link.
