Go lap

You should go with the lap repair. This has been shown to be the better procedure for bilateral inguinal hernias. Your surgeon didn't offer you this repair because he doesn't do it. ANY surgeon with the skill to do a laparoscopic repair would ABSOLUTELY recommend this approach in you. Take your surgeons advice and get an opinion from an experienced laparoscopic surgeon. You will be happy you did.
