: If while in the dragons graveyard, the weapons of power were
: greater than Venger, I doubt very seriously he would have
: survived. The look of terror on his face was priceless.
:
: He doesnt seem to worried about them in the Realm. Hanks blasted
: him, with little effect, and hes either deflected the bolts with
: his hand and magic, and caught one barehanded. Even one time he
: was restrained with one, but then at the time he had no powers,
: I doubt it would work otherwise.
:
: Curiously he seemed to be immune to fire, when demodragon let
: him have it, but not so with lava, seeing how he vanished a
: second before he fell into it in servant of evil
:
: Hes been blasted to bits 3 times, and still comes back.
:
: The fact that hes terrified of Tiamat tells me she is the only
: being besides the Nameless One that can destroy him.
:
: So I dont think he's truly unkillable, Just because your
: immortal, doesnt mean you cant be killed.

: I mean no matter how many times he's defeated, he always comes
: back. Your thoughts on this?
:
: Defeated yes, killed no.
:
: I don't think that he is not deathless, because he fears Tiamat.
: His reaction in the Hall of Bones suggests that he feared the
: spirits as well when he realised that they were more powerful
: than he. It seems logical to me, that if he were deathless, he
: would have no fear of either.
:
: He certainly seems to transcend certain physical constraints.
: He appears to be ageless; having lived over 1,000 years after
: creating the Maze of Darkness. He seems to be able to
: reconstitute his physical form after losing it.
:
: It seems to imply that he is very resilient, but not impossible
: to kill.

Wolfman makes a very good point. "Immortal" does not mean one is immune from death; it only means that one doesn't age. Put another way, you cannot die unless you are killed. (I vaguely remember reading a story once about a race of immortals where the greatest cause of death was having some mundane accident . . . .)
As a sidebar, I wonder about the source (or mechanism) of Venger's resistance to death. Is this immortality a normal feature of his "species," or is it the result of his "contract" with The Nameless One? Does Venger possess The Realm's equivalent to a Philosopher's Stone or a Horcrux, or some other form of life-extending magic?
Another thing: Venger seems to be able to escape injury, or even death, if he knows the threat is clear and present (Hank firing an arrow at him, falling into a pit of lava, etc.)
But what would happen if someone were to, say, shoot him in the head with a .50 cal. Barret Sniper Rifle from a mile away? He would not see the sniper, or even hear the bullet, since it is traveling faster than sound. This idea was actually suggested as being an effective way to "take out" a dark wizard in Vertigo's "Fables" Graphic Novel series (the "Sons of Empire" volume, if memory serves.)
And I know that I have brought this up before, but I also have to wonder how much of Venger's resistance to being killed is the result of constraints put on the writers by censors and sponsors to keep violence to the minimum without sacrificing too much action?
