Well ... I don't think Venger is deathless, exactly, but that he probably can't be killed by simple, mortal means. Inconveniently discorporated, yes, but not killed per se. My theory, though, is that he could indeed be permanently killed under certain circumstances. I think a being more powerful than Venger could easily eliminate him for real, and by that I specifically mean the Nameless One. On the other hand, is Tiamat more powerful than Venger? Could she have permanently destroyed him if she felt like it? That, I'm not so sure about.
And let's not forget the Dragon's Graveyard. In that episode, Hank wanted to "get rid of Venger once and for all" which is get-it-past-the-censors-cartoon-speak for "kill him." Tiamat did say that in the Graveyard, the Weapons were more powerful than Venger. Remember when Venger was pinned and that arrow was coming straight at him? He was terrified. Even greater was his obvious relief when all was said and done, and he realized that Hank had changed his mind and he wasn't dead after all. If Venger had been able to come back from a death under those particular circumstances, just that like any other time, I doubt he would have looked anywhere near as concerned.
Anyway, that's just my theory.
