I don't think DM had any more children other than Venger and Karina. Considering how those two turned out, he might have thought better about having any more children.
As far as Venger and Karina's mother goes, I believe that their mother was either a very powerful Enchantress OR a common Maiden whom DM loved very much. I suspect she may have died during childbirth while bearing Karina which would have forced DM to raise his children alone.
With DM being the powerful manipulator that he is and his children having only their father as their role model and example, it is small wonder that the apple did not fall far from the tree. Both Venger and Karina turned out to be powerful and manipulative. However, I believe that He-Who's-Name-Can-Not-Be-Spoken may have pushed Venger over the edge from being a powerful manipulator into a diabolically evil being who came to loathe his father and his sister with equal venom. Karina's turn towards evil may have come from the Ring of The Heart which she acquired which in turn may have compelled her to turn against her father and brother.
Still, this is just my two cents, take them for what they are worth.
