: Let me try something else: Does anyone have any ideas for
: "D&D/C" crossover fanfic stories that they would like
: to write, or just read? I'll get the ball rolling by throwing
: out an idea that I have (and have written some experimental
: chapters for,) to crossover "Dungeons and Dragons"
: with the "Marvel Runaways" (and the entire
: "Marvel Universe," by implication.) Of course, as
: "D&D/C" is now part of the Marvel Universe,
: technically this may not be a crossover . . . .
:
:
: Well, then, I'd probably be just snarky enough to cross them
: over with the DC universe, but that's just me being me ...
:
: In the long run, I sort of have some vague plans to eventually
: write a few crossovers with the Cthulhu mythos, similar to my
: Lovecraftian homage, Stones of Flame . But before I go to the
: effort, I've been wanting to know: Who out there reads enough
: H.P. Lovecraft to "get" what I'd be writing?

I would like to see a DC crossover with "Dungeons and Dragons." What if it had been the Teen Titans on that roller coaster? How about Venger vs. Zatanna? Or Jason Blood/Etrigan? Or Ra's al Ghul? Maybe even "Watchmen's" Dr. Manhattan?
I am not as fluent in Lovecraft as I should be. But I am familiar with the Cthulhu Mythos enough to have enjoyed "Stones of Flame" when I read it.
Interestingly, another 1980's cartoon series, "The Real Ghostbusters," actually did a Lovecraft crossover, titled "Collect Call of Cthulhu," that if memory serves, was very good (or so I thought at the time.)
