Did Venger once have two horns?

So, am watching the Day Of The Dungeon Master episode and notice that in Venger's castle there is what looks like a cloaked two-horned statue seen from behind.

Is this a statue of Venger form a time when he once had two horns?

If so, begs the question, how did he loose his right horn?

(Apologies if this has been discussed before but I'm new...)
