my little throey is that the beauty of nature is deadly to the beholder. that's why it turned the beautiful garden valley into a waste land.
my fav part is when Eric asked DM if he always had to appear and disappear like that. and DM said "No, not always" So there you go, old Dungeon Master makes like the Cheshire Cat just to get on everybody's nerves.

: Very interesting review - again!
:
: "Four suns! Do we ever get to see four suns on Realm ever
: again? "
: I think we get to see them in "Prison Without Walls".
:
: Will have to wait a few weeks to check
:
:
: I like the snails a lot too - they make really short work of
: the kids, and the kids have taken on Tiamat, etc...
:
:
: For me, the ending is has a major flaw - ok, so the Beholder is
: defeated by "beauty" - and as you correctly pointed
: out that the flower isn't a particularly nice flower, but what
: about the kids themselves - surely they are just as beautiful as
: the flower; and if we're going to go beyond the
: "skin-deep" beauty, they ARE six children Pure Of
: Heart... surely that in itself would qualify as beauty.
: But no. They had to wave a blue weed at the baddie to defeat it.
: Hmm.
