Maybe the Doctor visited Narnia too.
I have just been listening to an audio book of the seventh book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, The Last Battle. In it, the stables and the garden are both bigger on the inside than on the outside.
Of course it could be the other way around. Maybe someone from the Realm visited the Timelords. After all, you have cited three examples from the Realm, but the Doctor only had the Tardis!
