I have had plantar fasciitis for3 years. I had a tendon release in Januaryon my right foot. In July I was able to say the surgery was a success! My foot still gets tired and aches if I am on it but nothing like before. Now my left one has plantar fasciitis (actually it has for 1.5 years)But I can compare the surgical foot to the non surgical foot and what a difference my surgery was a success - a long recovery though. 2 weeks in a cast non weight bearing then 2 weeks of minimal weight bearing in a walking cast...I am glad to let anyone know it worked!
