Like almost ALL of you I also have Plantar Fascia and heelspurs. I have tried icing, therapy, stretching, taping, shots, casts, rest, inserts, ice wraps, night splints and anything i may have missed. lol. I am going for the orthotripsy procedure in two days. The doc says it is 80% effective. They will do my right foot first then in a month the left foot. It is considered day surgery but you are under general anthesia. I will be able to walk out of the hospital on my own and go back to work in 4 days. They may limit me to 1/2 days on feet for a week or two. I am so looking forward to this to hopefully relieve the pain. It has been a very rough 1 1/2 years since i was diagnosed. Here in Kansas they do not have many doc's do this procedure. So I have been thru 3 docs trying to find one who does it and have the insurance company approve it. But the day is finally almost here. I will post futher infor and my progress for all the read.
