Posted by GAR I've had plantaar faciitis in my right heel for at least 3 years now. I've used orthotics, did the excercises, got the steroid shot to no avail. At first I experienced pain during the weekends, now it's all the time. My podiatrist gave me the surgery alternative and I'm going to do that. He said the surgery would take less than 30 minutes and has a success rate of 75%. My doctor said it would take about 3 months to recuperate. I work in an office as a project manager. My current boss says I can work from home during my recuperation. I'll keep you posted.
