I've been told to start walking. don't know if I can.

Because it is so sore. I suppose I should mention thar I fractured my heel over three months ago, and I haven't walked since. How the doc says "go forth and walk, you'll get physio in a week r so, but you have to walk now as there is osteoporosis in your foot" So I tried today but the pain shot straight up my leg, my foot is numb and freezing cold (blue) has anyone been in this situation if so how exactly do I just get up and walk? thanks in advance
