: I've had awful heel pain (plantar
: fascitis) since 10/2002. Tried
: medication, orthotics, more
: medication, shots (steroids) and
: finally had the orthotripsy done.
: WOW! It actually works. First day
: out of sugery a little sore after
: anesthesia wore off but 2nd day and
: after, almost no pain at all!!! If
: you've got heel pain, this is the
: trick. I could barely walk in the
: morning and now I can barely feel my
: heels. AWESOME is all I can say!
: : Tomorrow I am going for my 1st appt
: w/the orthopedic to investigate this
: procedure. Almost sounds too good to
: be true.

It almost is! Seriously - I had the procedure done on 8/14 and I have actually walked 4 times this past week and it doesn't hurt that bad. A little sore but I expected that. I see my doc on the 15th of this month to see if I can go back to regular activities. Every day gets better. No more shooting sharp pains in my heals, just a little tender/sore but nothing compared to before!
