PF Heel Pain

I had the PF release surgery on both feet in 1996. Ever since I've had pain in the arch right in front of heels. I recently woke up one day and my feet are swollen and very painful to walk on that area. Been to doctors and tried all conservative treatments again and was told I need to have surgeries done again but this time the PF surgery where you cant walk on your feet for 6 weeks. Has anyone ever had more than one surgery for PF done on their feet? I'm afraid if I do it again it will make it worse, but as it is I can hardly press or walk on the area? Any suggestions?
