My podiatrist gave me anti-inflammatory pills, which relieved half the pain for about a month, then their effect started to fade. --Previous Message--

Hi Elaine,
I have heard that shockwave / ultrasound treatment and physiotherapy may help. When all fail, a cortisone needle shot right into the heel may be the last measure.
I am also open to all suggestions on how to cure plantar faciatis without undergoing surgery or getting a needle shot.
