Posted by Cuddles The surgery went really well and there were no complications. I am having normal tired foot pain but the pain I had from PF is GONE! It's important that if you have the surgery- as with every surgery- do exactly what your doctor says. If he says stay off your feet, then do it! My mistake was when he told me to wean myself off crutches and start wearing a shoe, I did it too quickly and then limped around for a week until I saw him and he told me that would make it worse so he put me back on crutches. The only real pain was the first 3 days but I was on pain meds so I didn't notice it much. It's hard to get used to walking on it and it's really gross when you put your foot in the water for the first time- the skin starts peeling from not using your foot and it's gross. LIke a sunburn. But nothing else helped me and i have a great doctor. I am willing to talk to any of you who have any further questions. Feel free to email me!

hi! I had the surgery done in May of this year. Today was my first day back at work-I work in retail so I am on my feet constantly.
