I am an eye doctor, therefore, I am on my feet constantly. Also, I obviously know very little about the feet. I was an avid runner until I was struck with PF ten months ago. I use a splint at night, stretch, wear orthotics, and limit my running to once a week. I definitely do not want a quick fix with a steroid shot; however, I am contemplating surgery if I could eventually get back to running. Has anyone experienced positive results from surgery or other treatments? Also, I am only 27 years old, so I want long term results!!
