From a ground-bound passer-by: If anyone has flown over where Lost Creek cuts through the Rim, I would love to hear a description of the creekbed. I've hiked and fished up to the falls (where the first water diversion begins) and have thought about trying to get higher, but as you know it can be some pretty rough country. The topos suggest that if I clear the falls the grade will smooth out a bit. Might even tease a wild trout or two. Anyone ever flown over, or climbed up or down to what appears to be a spring halfway up the rim? Tell me I'm not crazy -- or tell me I am. Thanks either way.
