I am looking for any information on the Harmon families who lived in the Virginia and West Virginia areas. The Harmon name was at one time spelled Harman, I am not sure why it was changed. I have Harmon relatives living in Newhall, war and surrounding areas of West Virginia right now, but we can only go back so far and then we run into a wall it seems. My grandparents were Lloyd (Tom) Harmon and Emma Sparks Harmon and my grandfathers parents were Sampson Haman and Minda Young Harmon, if anyone has any info on these people please email me, I am willing to share all info that I have. Sampson was born about 1878 in McDowell county West Virginia.Thank you for any help.
