Please let me know if you, or someone you know, is in this line. I have recently completer a Harmon Family DNA test and am eager to find someone of this line willing to do the same (a home test involving scrapings from the inside of one's mouth). Since there is no paper trail, this seems the only way to show our line came from Brunswick Co., as did George and Nancy Harmon. By the way, who are George and Barbara? Jim Harmon

Clayton Harmon (b. 15 Jan, 1824 in Adair Co., KY) was the child of William Harmon (b. 1780's, VA; d. 1876 in Adair Co. KY)
Clayton's wife was Margaret Lyon (b. 1827? in Adair Co., KY; daughter of John Lyon and Margaret (Mourning) Lyon of Adair Co)
There is some confusion in Adair Co. tradition. There it is popularly held that William Harmon maried Sarah Pendleton (as Isaac Harmon married Rachel Pendleton and John Harmon married Polly Pendleton). However a later Missorur historical journal artlcle on Clayton holds his parents were William Harmon and Sarah Harrison. So we are still working on this issue.
