Harriet Harmon was alllegedly born in Cairo in 1950 where her father was a jeweller. Because of political difficulties in Egypt he came to England where he became a successful lawyer. His first wife died and he married again. He is dead but his widow Anna is also a lawyer. Harriet Harmon has retained his name rather than her married name. But was her father's name always Harmon ? Perhaps some member of the Harmon family can enlighten me, please.
