Maybe this will help.What I know for sure is that the Harmon name is originally scandanavian,they were a section of vikings known as Normans,they settled in northern France "hence Normandy".They then invaded England and Ireland(where I'm originally from)around 1100 AD.From the early 1700s to this present day we Harmons have been emigrating to North America,initially via Quebec,Canada and Ellis Island,New York.I have also learned recently that a lot of Irish emigrants and Native Americans wed and had families.I hope this info. helps you a little and good luck with your search.
