Here's my brick wall: My great grandfather William Henry Harmon, born 31 Mar 1889 was Henry and Matilda "Mattie" Drew's son born in Milan, Monroe Co. Michigan--birth certificate. I have reason to believe that Henry was Matilda's second husband--her first being Abraham Wiles (1880 census--New Haven, Michigan) Matie may have been Henry's second wife as I have found a Michigan marriage record for Henry J. Harmon and Loretta Reed 1872 in New Haven, Michigan. Henry lists his place of birth: Genessee, NY.
Could he possibly the son of "Walter Harmon" b 1810 in Oneida, NY who relocated the family to Ionia Co, Michigan sometime in the 1850's? AND Could Walter be the son of Adonijah 1790 of New York? All of the information I have is unsourced so I can't be sure whether Walter is a part of my line or not.
