Posting Tips:
1) When you reply to a post, your reply shows up under the message you're currently reading. Try not to reply to a message with unrelated information!
2) When posting a query: First, use the search to try to find out if anyone has posted about your line already. If so, post your message as a reply to that message. If not, feel free to start a new thread.
3) When posting a query, give as much information as possible. For example, don't just post, "I'm looking for the parents of William Harmon." That's a bit too ambiguous. Try something like, "I'm looking for the parents of William Harmon, born abt 1828 in or near Flounderville, LA." You're chances of getting a meaningful reply will go up dramatically.
