You could be forgiven for thinking that the name Stoned Soul Picnic was dreamed up through a haze of blue smoke in Marakesh, or else appropriated from an obscure funk album title at a music festival. You would be wrong, but you could be forgiven nontheless. Unlike Travis who can never be forgiven. Ever.
The fact of the matter is we employed a team of top marketing people with big turn-ups on their jeans and micro-scooters to come up with that label. We cant name them, but lets just say Spud-U-Like and Tetley Tea Men and we think youll get an idea of the calibre of professional were talking about.
You see, we spit in the face of Naomi Klein - for us, the brand is king. Incidentally, this leaflet was stapled by Chinese children in our own Stoned Soul sweatshops. Small hands, very nimble you see.
Anyway, the top and bottom of it is that our people didnt instantly come up with Stoned Soul Picnic it was a name that was reached after months of questionnaires, brainstorming sessions and exhaustive focus group meetings. Heres just a selection of the less outlandish names that were only rejected at the final stages of the process.

3 - B.L.T & Orange pop
4 - Insect spray.
