After School Care Mondays and Wednesdays in Arlington/McLean
We are looking for a babysitter/nanny share every Monday and Wednesday between 3-6 p.m., with the potential for extra hours and/or becoming an evening babysitter. Longer hours (after 6 p.m.) on Wednesday are preferred, if possible. On Mondays you would be responsible for two girls, age 5 and 1, and on Wednesdays you would be looking after a 4-year-old girl.
We are looking for a long-term arrangement, since the 1-year-old is particularly social and is bound to fall in love with her caregiver. Because of the ages of the children and the hours, this would be an ideal position for local college and graduate students—particularly those interested in childhood development. Requirements include caring for our children, providing snacks, walks, activities, etc.
Start Date: August 26 or thereafter
Location: McLean (Chesterbrook Woods) and Arlington (Chain Bridge Forest)
Requirements:
- Must provide own transportation
- Someone comfortable with multiple young children
- A person who is loving and nurturing and who would truly enjoy their time as part of our family
- We prefer someone who is active and likes to take walks, read, play, and otherwise be social with our kids.
