There are some versions of songs from the early days that were edited and changed around a bit....Like World's On Fire....It was originally called Colours On The Wall....and Lee Freeman was the lead vocalist. Also there's a version of Lose to Live that is longer....they cut it up to make Unwind With The SAC and Pass Time With The SAC. There's an instrumental version of Sitting On A Star.
WE had also done a different version of Birds In My Tree for Dick Clark...it was his favorite SAC song and he had planned to use it in the movie Psych Out but the scene was cut out.
Besides all that we did a couple of commercials. One was introducing the new Chevy Camaro...we filmed the spot driving from Universal Studios ending up in Malibu wearing 1930's style bathing suits. We sang Camaroooo in place of Tomorrow! We also did a Coppertone Tanning Lotion Commercial...that one was just the music track...completely original song but singing Coppertone at the end in triplets. No appearance though. I don't think either saw the light of day because of us getting busted in Peoria, Ill. That was a death blow for the SAC back then.
Apologies if I have asked this before but, are there any unreleased SAC songs?
