but, their "manager" took the reels. no one in the band ever heard a note of it.
Never heard about audio from the Hermits/Who show floating around, bootleg or otherwise……although I *may* have some silent 8mm footage of just the Hermits in the archives. I see Peter Noone at the natural food stores in town fairly often.
Some footage from the 2nd Beach Boys/Springfield tour just surfaced. Nothing onstage, just the bands deboarding a plane in Dallas. (They had played Austin and/or San Antonio the day before.) Short but sweet. If only some Alarm Clock audio would surface from either of those tours....
Perhaps not too much live SAC is available for home viewing, but we'll always have their wonderful albeit lip synched performances in "Psych Out" and "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls".As far as audio,I'd love to get a hold of one of the bootlegs that was issued comprising of shows the band did with The Who and Herman's Hermits....................

: Hi Matt,
:
: Thanks for the heads up about the video-I
: have never heard of it, so I will have a
: look on Amazon later to see if its
: available...in England. Yup, that's where I
: am, which sadly rules out the chance of me
: ever seeing The Alarm Clock live-although
: The Chocolate Watchband made it here
: about..13 years ago.
:
: The live "Who Do You Love"jam I
: referred to is on this site. Its the opening
: clip in the videos section, so you may well
: have seen it already. Its just me that's
: named it that way-it may have another title
: for all I know. I named it thus because the
: rhythm reminds me of Quicksilver Messenger
: Service's version on "Happy
: Trails". The Alarm Clock version on
: afilm called Live and Psychedelic Live At
: Sherman Oaks, and was played on 19th October
: 2014. It has great slide guitar with Eastern
: tinged flute and keyboard over that
: propulsive drum beat-psychedelic indeed! The
: go go dancer...I've just watched it again ,
: and she isn't really that. She looks more
: like a "hippy" dancer from the
: Fillmore West circa 1969. Not that I have
: ever been there- but that's how the girls
: look on photos I've seen.
:
: All the best,
: Dave
