It replaced “To Sir With Love” at number one.The week after, though, it got knocked out by “Daydream Believer” which then stayed at number one for four straight weeks.
It should also be noted that “Tomorrow” made its debut at #80 on the December 30, 1967 chart. For three weeks in a row the SAC had two singles at the same time on the Hot 100 chart!!
George, humongous congratulations to you and the guys. Wish that Lee was here for it. And of course, luckily for all of us, the SAC is still at it!!
