If you mean still photos of the show, it's ok with the band, but the Whisky has it's own policies which seem to change depending on their mood. Officially, they say cell phone pictures are ok and they have let me take pictures with a point and shoot camera. A DSLR gets into the grey area where they may charge you, because it can shoot decent quality video and they charge for that. In my experience they want $50 per camera, but it depends on what the camera looks like. I set up a digital cinema camera for one show (I was with the band and had prior approval) and the manager told me to pack it up right now or she will charge me $500. They can get weird, but with a still camera you should be ok or worst case out $50. Note that there will be a psychedelic light show designed for the eyes of the audience, not cameras, so no flash please, and be prepared for it to be a bit darker than "hot lighting" rock shows.
