** a note on Bob Dylan: cool songs as they were prior to 1975, if it wasn't for covers people did, he really wouldn't have stood out any more than Arlo Guthrie. Just a relatively minor player. But keeping his 60's legacy in mind and the influence he had on the Byrds and Beatles, he is an absolutely pathetic state at this point. Saw him live in 2001 and again back in July 2013. Both times were were awful (his acoustic guitar was actually MUTED most of the time thankfully because it was clear just from watching he had NO SENSE OF RHYTHM - He truly should have quit after his 1997 comeback era. What he does now is actually quite sad and pitiful, nothing more than a ripoff at $80-120. A lot of people may see him as some kind of mythic legend, but I see his concerts and ticket prices as nothing but greedy overpriced frauds. If anyone reading this ever has the chance to see Dylan live, do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money. Go see Fogerty or Clapton instead-(almost same age as Dylan) but still able to deliver.- CCR didn't do drugs, by the way. Neither did Steppenwolf for the most part.

: Hi guys!
: What is your overall assessment of the
: situation that existed re-LSD-25 in the
: 1960's?I've heard and about and even
: personally experienced everything from
: Nutopian heavenly states to the horrors of
: "bum trips".Of
: course, nowawadays, the drug mostly serves as
: recreational entity whereas back in
: "Incense" days it was highly
: regarded by many serious artisans and
: political protesters as a legitimate way of
: understanding or even communing and
: communicating with God himself.Just how much
: of '60's culture do you believe was directly
: and deeply inspired by the controversial
: chemical?
