Thanks for the compliment on the harmony's! I hope that clears up any questions..however, I do have to say that's my recollection. Some of the other band members may have another perspective. Even under the circumstances, we were relatively happy with the outcome of the track... Unfortunately "Oliver's" GMS version was launched unbeknownst to UNI( As it was clearly a much more Hipper and better arrangement) spoiled our attempt to get our version off the ground as Oliver's climbed up the charts. UNI, I feel dropped the ball on that one ( not knowing of the other release) and spoiled any chance of success. Shortly thereafter the '69 SAC group morphed into a 4 piece 1970 SAC ( right after I quit in Nov'69) as Ed King, Lee Freeman, Paul Marshall and Gene Gunnels carried on a few more years playing around the States. (and NOT playing GM Starshine ever again). Cheers,
MSW

: Do you have any designs on performing
: "Good Morning Starshine" in your
: sets?I always felt this was one of the
: tracks where the band could truly exhibit
: its wonderful harmony prowess.I can tell
: from the finished product that you really
: worked hard at getting this one "just
: right". ( It was too "Kissy" for us, and felt we wood really catch some "Sh*t for recording this).
