Just finished perusing a fascinating book by Domenic Priore (foreword by Arthur Lee of Love), "Riot On Sunset Strip Rock'n'roll's last stand in Hollywood" (2007). The work is replete with many pictures, club listings, album slicks of live recordings and bibliography. It takes one back to the 60s, documenting the musical, social/cultural and political happenings in the club scene and on the streets. The Byrds and other legendary bands, including the Strawberry Alarm Clock, are highlighted.
