If you tried to play a chord on the bass it would be ten times harder than a regular guitar, but playing bass is a different animal.
It does take another type of finger strength and a whole new set of calluses to boot.
Rainy Day's tabs look difficult on paper.
to simplify it's Emin7 to A7 for the verses
poison dreams part is F# - F - Emaj - but leave the high E string open for all 3 chords.
then it's A7 but you go down chromatically from G on the high E string till you get to the open E. Then do the same thing with an Amin7 chord.
The bridge is:
Dmin - Fmin - Gmin - B - Emaj twice then go back to the A7 - Amin7 thing....then back to the verse.
There ya have it!

: Along with some inexpensive accoustic,I was
: also considering snagging one of those
: accoustic basses I've heard raves
: about.(Including inclusion of the instrument
: I once saw on a Paul McCartney accoustic
: set)I know the bass tunes just like the
: bottom four strings on guitar and your
: fingers are basically in the same chord
: positions, but is it very difficult to adapt
: to the instrument's larger strings when
: you've basically only been used to the much
: lighter ones all your life? Also,in the
: future,I may need you to send me the tabs to
: "Rainy Day"!
