I tried to find the email I had from him a few years ago to no avail.
The only other angle I can think of is through the register of copyrights bureau. They would have the proper place and persons to send any residual checks to....?
Also the Harry Fox Agency keeps track of that sort of thing.

: George: Can you put me in touch with Roy's son

: Roy Freeman did pass away several years ago.
: I had received an email from his son who
: lives in northern California a few years
: ago. We emailed back and forth a few times
: and that was it.

: George: Thanks for the quick reply. I'm a
: Baltimore-based freelance writer, now 58,
: who contributes to several city
: publications, including the website
: Baltimore Fishbowl
: (http://www.baltimorefishbowl.com/
: ). I vividly recall "Barefoot in
: Baltimore" from its original release,
: guessing that it enjoyed more significant
: airplay here in Baltimore (and regionally)
: than nationally. True?
: Anyway, I want to write an item about the
: song for Fishbowl, and, if possible, speak
: to Roy Freeman; his lyrics are so specific
: to the city, and that specificity leads me
: to believe that either he grew up in
: Baltimore or lived here for a while.
: Is he still alive? If so, can you put me in
: toch with him?
: I'm happy to send along links to some of my
: stories if you'd like to see them, although
: that's probably besy accomplished via
: regular e-mail so as not to clog your site's
: bulletin board.
: Please advise, and thanks for your help.

: that would be Roy Freeman. He was a comedy
: writer for Joey Bishop. No relation to Lee
: Freeman (or Doug Freeman).
: He also penned the lyrics to Sit With The
: Guru and Eulogy. Lee Freeman and Ed King
: wrote a song called They Saw The Fat One
: Coming which was in reference to Roy. He was
: actually a nice guy, but was forced upon us
: by the powers that be.
