I didn't want to do this but it's reasonably good news and I thought it would offset the previous report of gloom and doom;
Lee’s checkup today at Stanford went well (he's up to 113.5 pounds!); his lab results were good and the doctor thought he looked good. The tumor on his neck is no longer draining and Lee was a bit stronger. Dr. feels that he has ‘plateaued’ with this chemo combination and that we need to change things up to get better results.
They want to take a new series of scans of Lee and then will come up with a revised chemo plan for next week. All in all it was a pretty positive visit. The doctor said it was a miracle how well Lee was doing, and that the process was really hard - and that there was reason for hope.
On to the next step…
