Zappa said musicians were a "necessary evil" and loved using the synclavier to create one-man performances. I have made a few recordings of vocal harmony and several guitars using an old multi-track reel-to-reel, but there's NO FEELING ON EARTH like being on stage with my fellow guitar-slingers playing rock and roll to a wild audience! Or at the outdoor festivals we specialize in where little kids dance to the oldies we play! Seeing youngsters enjoy us playing songs that were from way before their time is as good as the part where we get paid!
