To add some variety to future dinner train and excursion service on the Leelanau County, i have decided to acquire several Athearn 70 foot heavyweight round roof (arch roof) and 70 foot clerestory roof coach kits and a Athearn 70 foot heavyweight diner car. with the number of passengers that would be on the Leelanau County Railway, if it was a real shortline, i would probaly need some more horsepower to pull any long excursion or dinner trains. I may acquire 3 or 4 Walthers GP15-1's for excursion service. If so a couple of them will be decorated for a shortline owned by the Leelanau County, such as Cadillac & Lake City or Boyne City. That way i can sometimes have "foreign road" locomotives on my fictional line.
