I have always thought a layout built of a real railroad would be the best way to go. But now I am thinking for a small layout freelancing might be better. I was thinking on my new layout I could operate several different prototypes, like my favorites, the PM, GTW, AA, M&NE, etc. I could have a small amount of equipment for each and maybe even switch eras. TN
