can anyone tell me how sand going to redi mix cement plants is brought in? is it brought in two bay covered hoppers or can it be brought in via say gondolas? i heard somewhere online that sand going to cement plants is not required to be covered from elements as are other grades of sand say like for brick or foundry molds. would like to have some sand loads for my 10 athearn fishbelly gondolas going to my walthers blue star redi mix cement plant.
