Steve, Dave Boy you have got my interest. I had thought about someday building the Sanilac RR and having it take over the DC&S as the Hemans and Peck Subdivisions. I thought they could they could use an SW in Pere Marquette and perhaps a BL2 along with an Ann Arbor RS1 leased from MDOT. A Pere Marquette 0-8-0 to pull a coach or two for tourist operation.
Are you referring to the "freerail" design used by the operation road show folks in Saline as the basis for the modules?
When my dad was on loan to Sandusky in 1962 when they were cutting from manual to dial telephone service one of the other Bell guys who grew up in the area talked about hopping the local DC&S from the Watertown area to Sandusky as a kid.
I may have to actually build a module to satisfy some of my interst.
Did Peck have a passing siding along with the team track and what did the track arrangement look like there. Was the station typical of the Handys? That is block construction?
I tried to post earlier when this first was posted but didn't realize I wasn't a member so I had to register and just got my OK
