I have two large, 100 oz. cans applesauce and 1 can sliced apples also about 100 0z. and lg. GFS box of yellow cake mix (I think makes 1/2 sheet cake. Planning on dumping fruit into two lg catering pans, sprinkling cake mix on top and adding 2 sticks of melted butter over each pan. Can anyone give me advise if this will work? Do I add all the juice from the can of sliced apples? Should I add cinnamon and/or brown sugar? If so how much?
