I live in Texas and people are accustomed to good quality breakfast tacos made fresh. I get what you are saying about the hassle. I just don't think that Costco tacos would work well in my location.
A fellow Toastmaster has volunteered to supply the tacos free. And she lives much closer to work than I do. As far as I know, she has done such for at least 20 people bringing them fully prepared to the meetings.
We have people at work who have done the prepared-at-work version as a fundraiser for JDRF. I don't remember who they were, but enjoyed the tacos I bought. I can find out.
I really appreciate your input, and it helps me think through this. I am considering doing this more than once but with a smaller number of guests (dividing the people by department) so it won't be a big hassle.
I appreciate your response, and you always give good advice. I benefit from responses you give to others regularly.
Thanks,
Bethicia

: Look for a wholesale source for pre-made
: breakfast burritos or whatever. Check
: Costco, Sam's Club, Restaurant Depot, etc.
: They will cost about up to $1 each but so
: worth the lack of trouble.

: I was just voted President of our company's
: Toastmasters club and would like to enourage
: people to learn more about our club. People
: at work are always eager for breakfast. I
: live an hour away from work (but others live
: closer). I would like to offer breakfast
: tacos, but am open to your suggestions.
: Should I get up early and make the tacos at
: home and transport them in a cooler (would
: that be safe?) or try to make the eggs in an
: electric roaster at work? Thanks for any
: help or ideas. Bethicia
