You could easily prep for a Dutch oven meal for the dinner at the end of the day. If necessary, the food, ice coolers and ovens could float down the river with you in the boats. You'd have to secure things if you're going to encounter white water.
Do as much prep as you can at home or in camp before the run. You can brown/drain fat from meat, chop vegetables, shred cheese, etc. Store everything in zipper-lock bags and pack into one or more dedicated coolers. With food for 50, you'll need 1 cooler for drinks and 1 or 2 for the meal.
The meal can be anything from shepherd’s pie to enchilada casserole to chicken pot pie. Recipes abound in the Internet and on Dayle's site. Don't forget salad's (all pre-made), dessert (Dutch oven brownies or dump cake) and drinks (iced and ready).
