Christmas

I plan to have a cold Christmas Lunch this year. But I would also like to incorporate some hot food as well. Would I serve cold meats and salad with perhaps some hot veg?
Any ideas would be welcome. This will be the first time my family will be at my home so I would like it to go off well.
