Hello, I am a 6-year survivor and during treatment posted frequently on the treatments board. I have not visited for quite some time.
I mourn the loss of my 43-year old friend and co-worker from metastatic breast cancer. She leaves behind 2 six-year old twins. I have been asked to say a few words at her Celebration of Life memorial and quite frankly, me, a woman of MANY words and opinions, are at an impasse as to what to say. I know I can memorialize her person and the honorable life she led, but since many there speaking will do that I thought perhaps a soothing poem to read may be appropriate. Any suggestions or links to some nice poetry would be appreciated.
For all of you who are mourning the loss of someone from this horrible disease, Godspeed you peace and comfort.
